HELLO
I have 25+ years of award winning design experience.
I have had the opportunity to work with so many wonderful folks across the country.
In all facets of the creative fields. I am lucky.
I began my professional career primarily as an illustrator, but wanting more control over the finished project - children's books at the time - I began learning graphic design. I spent 10 years on the east coast working on children's books with publishers in New York and San Fransisco. At the same time working on staff as a designer for a design firm specializing in healthcare and social justice and a comic book company repackaging hardcover euro comics and graphic novels, honing design chops.
I moved west for the lifestyle, the beauty & the place. This opened opportunities in a whole variety of fields. I have worked on educational materials for superfund sites, branded an organic supermarket from logo to having my illustrations cut in steel and hung on the walls, I work with the tribes on interpretive signage, non profits & festivals, and I am the art director for a startup media company focused on the authentic experiences of moms including designing 25+ magazines.
